Decaf is often as afterthought for most coffee roasters. Just a checkbox to fill on the offer sheet. Thats why most decafs taste so bad. We take a different approach by making our standards for decaf just as high as our other coffees. After all, decaf drinkers are purely looking for flavor not the energy boost. The coffee from Guatemala was decaffeinated using the chemical-free Mountain Water Process. We find this to be the cleanest and best process for decaf coffee that results in sweet and clean flavors.
