Jose Humberto De Melo started his coffee farm, Retiro(meaning "retreat") in 2004. On his farm, he works to produce high-quality single-estate natural process coffees. The small size of the farm allows him to focus on picking and processing to produce sweeter and cleaner coffees than the large estate neighbors. This coffee is full of chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and dried fruit notes. It also has a velvety creamy body which creates a balanced brew that can be loved by all as a daily drink. Fantastic as filter coffee, cold brew and espresso.

How often do you ship?

We roast and ship M-F. We ship each order with 24-48 hours via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground.

How fresh is the coffee?

We roast to order and ship ASAP to get you the freshest beans possible. We put the "Roasted On" date front and center on our package for full transparency. No middleman, no warehouses, no fulfillment centers for coffee to get stale at.
